From April 14th to 16th, experts from our association visited Huji Town to conduct research and discussions on phosphogypsum management. As a by-product of phosphate fertilizer production, the stacking problem of phosphogypsum has always been a problem for environmental protection. Through field visits and face-to-face communication with local managers, experts discussed the environmental impact of phosphogypsum and its treatment strategies with local government officials and business representatives. And shared the advanced phosphogypsum comprehensive utilization technology at home and abroad. In addition to paying attention to phosphogypsum management, experts also visited the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The two parties conducted in-depth academic discussions on the issue of aquatic ecotoxicity and discussed how to transform research results into practical applications. Finally, the experts visited the Key Laboratory of Silicates of Wuhan University of Technology and had an in-depth dialogue with the main responsible comrades of the laboratory on future training and consulting cooperation.
