On July 1, 2020, the drafting group expert of the "Green Development and Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Application in the Non-metallic Sandstone Industry" of the National Green Mine Environmental Protection and High Quality Development Series recommended that the exchange meeting should be held at the International Ecological Economy Promotion Association (IEEPA); Li Junyang, Acting Vice President , Cui Wenlong, Deputy General Manager of China National Building Materials Group Geological Engineering Exploration Academy Co., Ltd., and related academic experts jointly discussed and had an in-depth communication of the upcoming "Green Development and Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Application in the Non-metallic Sandstone Industry", one of the National Green Mine Environmental Protection and High Quality Development Series.

The National Green Mine Environmental Protection and High Quality Development Series is to guide and standardize the non-metallic sandstone mining industry to quickly move toward green, industrial, intensive, digital, intelligent, international and healthy and sustainable development. The stone mining industry promotes the construction of a number of exemplary enterprises with national-level green mine environmental protection and high-quality development.

"Green Development and Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Application in the Non-metallic Sandstone Industry" is China's first "Guide to the Construction of National Green Mine Non-metallic Sandstone Mining Industry Demonstration Standards", which was published in June 2019. Chapter 5, 6, 7 are the outline, respectively in three aspects of "green exploration and development of sand and gravel resources, energy conservation and efficient use of energy, and ecological environmental protection", specifying the requirements and systems of green mines in the sand and gravel industry in the field of high-quality economic and environmental development and construction, elaborating the technical points in the construction of green mines, as well as new technologies and methods, which are practical and forward-looking, and have the value of demonstration to lead the development of the industry.

The book is divided into six chapters and appendices. The first chapter is an overview of the sand and gravel industry, which defines and classifies the aggregates, and systematically analyzes the history of development, current status, existing problems and development trends of the sand and gravel industry; the second chapter is an introduction of production technologies of the gravel and aggregates, describing the mining and processing technology of sand and gravel aggregates; Chapter three is the green exploration and development of sand and gravel resources, describing the distribution of sand and gravel resources, the requirements for green exploration and development and construction, and the efficient and comprehensive utilization of sand and gravel resources The fourth chapter is about energy saving and energy efficient utilization. It elaborates the energy saving overview, analyzes the energy consumption of the sand and gravel industry, and proposes energy saving and consumption reducing measures, discussing the feasibility of the application of new technologies and new energy in the sand and gravel industry. The fifth chapter is ecological environment protection, which discusses the pollution control methods of waste gas, waste water, noise, solid waste, etc. generated in the production process of sand and gravel mines and the measures of ecological environmental protection; the sixth chapter is the construction of green gravel mines, systematically sorting out the national green mine construction policies, the general situation of green mine construction in various provinces, the requirements for the construction of sand and green mines, and the declaration and acceptance process of sand and green mines; the appendix extracts the relevant standards and specifications for green mine construction in the sand and gravel industry.

Cui Wenlong introduced, China National Building Materials Geological Engineering Exploration Academy was established in the 1950s and is affiliated to China National Building Materials Group Co., Ltd., which is directly managed by the China Building Materials Industry Geological Prospecting Center. It is the only non-metallic mineral system in Sinoma Group that also focuses on research unit. At present, China's annual output of raw coal in 2019 is 3.75 billion tons, while the output of sandstone mines in 2019 is as high as more than 20 billion tons. Compared with other minerals, the sandstone mine market has traditionally had low entry barriers. The technical parameters related to the mining field are very scarce, and the market in the segmented field needs to be further strengthened.
