On March 2nd, Academician Wu Fengchang, President of the Beijing International Ecological Economy Association, met with Mr. Zheng Zhigang, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of the New World Group, in the VIP room of the association. The two sides had full communication on green and low-carbon, ecological economy, the development of the association and future cooperation

Academician Wu Fengchang warmly welcomed Mr. Zheng Zhigang's visit and introduced him to the basic purpose and work direction of the Beijing International Ecological Economy Association. The association's main purpose is to promote win-win and sustainable development of the economy and environment, adhering to the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", promoting the development of ecological resources and energy conservation and environmental protection industries. By undertaking the transfer of government social work functions, establish a good industry self-discipline and supervision mechanism, formulate relevant standards for ecological economy and energy conservation and environmental protection industries, implement industrialization support and guidance measures, thus forming economic development and human health effective assistance for social harmony and coexistence.

Mr. Zheng Zhigang listened to the special report by Dr. Liu Hongzhi, Secretary General of our association, and fully affirmed the work of the association. He looked forward to practical cooperation in the field of green industries in the future. He hoped that the team would do a good job in preparing for relevant demonstration projects, dual carbon environmental protection funds, and the Hongkong Summit of the association under the leadership of the association. During this period, President Wu Fengchang specially invited Mr. Zheng Zhigang to serve as the Vice President of the Association, and Mr. Zheng Zhigang readily agreed.
